The self-catering chalet at Ranch des Bisons, nestled at the entrance of the Regional Nature Park of the Northern Vosges, provided a cozy retreat for our weekend getaway. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher and microwave, allowed us to prepare delicious meals while soaking in the natural beauty that surrounded us. Our days were filled with cycling and hiking, exploring the picturesque surroundings and encountering the majestic bison up close.The warm hospitality of the owners added an extra layer of charm to our stay, as they shared insights about their bison project and the local area, creating a truly immersive experience. We enjoyed leisurely evenings on the covered terrace, admiring the peaceful farmland merging with the Vosges forests, and savoring the tranquility of the setting. The presence of a barbecue facility on-site offered us the chance to indulge in farm-fresh produce, enhancing our culinary adventures.With free private parking and a range of amenities including a balcony, dining area, and washing machine, the chalet catered to our every need, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The opportunity to purchase local farm produce further enriched our connection to the region, allowing us to savor the flavors of the land.
